Part of Toronto’s History

To the discerning eye, traces of Freemasonry can be found everywhere throughout the city of Toronto. From the square and compass displayed on the facing of Old City Hall, to the old Masonic temple hidden on the second floor of the St. Lawrence market, we are a thriving and active part of our community’s past, present and future. We are the oldest lodge in the Greater Toronto area. We have been privileged to count many of the city’s leading citizens as our own. More importantly, we are proud to know that all of our members have contributed to the social and cultural foundation of the city by a commitment to serving our fellow citizens.

While most of us are ’speculative freemasons’, many of our brothers have also been instrumental in the design and building of many of Toronto’s most notable landmarks.
